Every once in awhile the heavens part just enough to allow me to do some personal projects. Most recently I've been working on some poster prints, illustrations, and screen printing to quell my obsession with robots. Here are some recent samples.

Worked developed at Sparks GroveRole: Creative/Art Direction, DesignCoca-Cola is a big, a really big soft drink manufacturer but they do more than just sell happiness in a can. They’re also responsible for changing up how their products get in the hands of the storeowner and ultimately the consumer. And they’re doing it by doubling down on their supply chain division. This logo concept aims to solidify that new division.

Role: Organizer, Creative Director, & co promoterAfter seeing the film Beautiful Losers at the SXSW film festival it became apparent that this film needed to be shown back home in Atlanta. Why? To inspire others within the Atlanta creative community. How so? With a film that captures the independent spirit of creating art and design on your own terms without the establisment's help and with Atlanta, a city that is often overlooked by that same establishment, the parallels were clear. Working with the tremendous help and endorsement of the AIGA we secured the film at The Plaza Theatre, developed an art show for the screening with the Mint Gallery, created promotional materials around it, and hit the street to create a word of mouth campaign. The show played to a packed house at the Plaza 09.18.08. View screen burn animationPromotional poster

The Smithsonain, Geology, Gems, & Minerals + African Voices, Bogolafini ExhibitTaking possibly the most tactile objects in The Smithsonian's geology, gems, and minerals collection...and putting them on the Web in interactive exhibits. While you can only hope to live up to The Smithsonian's high standards, we did get to say "magma" a lot, which no one can ever take from us. Though if you didn't like that site you can take away your own custom Bogolanfini in the mudcloth interactive exhibit I helped design for The Smithsonain.Click here to view siteRole: Designer The Smithsonian, Geology, Gems, & Minerals Web Site screens
